Steven Johnson is the principal of the firm. He attended Cameron University majoring in Accounting and Business Administration. He tested with the US Treasury Department in 1989 and acquired his Enrolled Agent (EA) license which he is currently in good standing. Additionally he is an Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA) and a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI). He had also successfully completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) testing with the ICFP.
Prior to starting his own business he managed two locations of a franchised national income tax preparation firm. While managing the franchise offices, he taught income tax preparation to employees of the parent company.
In 1987 Steve opened his own accounting, tax preparation, & tax planning office in Bradenton.

Leslye Frankart’s affiliation with Johnson Financial Services, Inc. began in 1998, after 6 years with another firm. She manages the accounting aspect of the firm and is responsible for the preparation of the majority of the corporate and non-profit tax returns; while also preparing individual tax returns.

Mikko Taylor joined the firm in 2006. Her restaurant-accounting experience provided her with a strong base on which to build. She is responsible for the preparation of corporate financial statements and individual tax returns.
